The crumble cookies and Mallow Latte are what I remember most from Cafe Mallow in Downey. When I think of taking a short break with someone over cookies and coffee, this is the café that comes to mind.

Two things I remember

Cookies that were not too sweet

I liked that the crumble cookies were not too sweet. They were delicious without being overly sweet for my taste, and made a lovely dessert to have with coffee.

A memorable Mallow Latte

The Mallow Latte I chose with the cookies also left an impression. It is a combination I would order again on another visit.

A café I would come back to with someone

Cafe Mallow stayed with me as a café I would like to visit with someone. Whether catching up with a friend or taking a short break with someone I care about, I would happily spend that time here over cookies and a latte.

If I were making plans to meet in Downey again, Cafe Mallow would be the first place I would think of.
